Mr. Elias Hayek

Business Trainer

Elias el Hayek graduated from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Hospitality Management earning a B.A in Hotel Management as well as a graduate from ESA – ESCP earning dual certification in EMBA. Elias pursued his career in Food and Beverage before discovering his passion for Human Resources, and obtaining certification in SPHR.

Elias acquired substantial experience in the domain of human resources management including recruitment and staffing, manpower planning, employee engagement and performance management contributing to the building and sustenance of customer-centric, performance-driven teams. He delivers courses in the topics of competency-based interviewing skills, customer service, supervisory leadership, strategic management, and executive leadership courses.

While his time with Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, Elias was in charge of setting up the training function in the hotel and trained all hotel employees during the pre-opening phase of the hotel. He also has contributed to the Four Seasons Safari Lodge in Serengeti Tanzania and provided support for a month to the learning departments of the Four Seasons Resorts in the Maldives at Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru. At Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, in addition to managing the learning and development function, Elias also participated in the selection, recruitment, training, career development coach, and induction of staff ensuring the right person for the right job. Elias has obtained his MBTI Certification and was the MBTI trainer at Four Seasons Hotel and Resort in the Maldives for three consecutive years.

Prior to that, Elias worked in various assignments including Training Officer and Assistant Employee Development Manager to the position of Employee Development Manager in charge of 2 properties in Lebanon. Elias launched the Employee Development Function at Hazmieh Rotana, developed, and executed the employment development plan for Gefinor Rotana. He also initiated the Employee Development Department in Al Manshar Rotana, Kuwait.

In his latest role, Elias is heading the Human Resources Division of EXOTICA SAL, an agricultural company involved in the ornamental and gifting sector and the leaders in providing first class floristry and landscaping contracting. Elias sets the HR Strategy of the company along with the GM aiming to decrease the turnover rate among employees, he also manages the different functions of the HR Division from recruitment to talent management and performance management in addition to fostering employee engagement in the company.
